Sigh…it seems Patrick is determined to stick with his ‘stache!  But this week’s episode is 1950’s heaven.  And with devilish timings on the challenges.  I’m not entirely sure I wouldn’t have been on the floor weeping!

  1. It was quite a lot to do in the timescale. I wish that they would give them longer to do stuff. Don’t think anyone would set themselves up to not make something nice through lack of time in their own sewing. It should be the Great British Speed Sewing Bee. I miss Project Catwalk. That was fantastic. Xx

The first challenge where the give them a pattern made me gawp at the TV. An insanely narrow timescale, especially considering they were learning a new machine too!
Project Catwalk made me throw stuff at the telly, but I did love Project Runway. Tim Gunn is marvellous!

Once again, thank you for the link. I so love this show! But how could the contestants complain about sewing on those beautiful Featherweights! Ship them all to me!

  3. Thank you so much for posting this. I have watched the other episodes thanks to you and love the show 🙂

  4. I especially loved this one too but agree that the timescales are ridiculous. I have the pattern for the walkaway dress (or whatever it’s called) and am now inspired to dig it out and make it! (Out of an old curtain, of course 😉 )
