Something blue

I came home on Friday from a day trip to the museum with the kids (more about that another day)  to another lovely parcel in the porch.

I’d been expecting this one from Anne as I’d won two Burda magazines in her Blogaversary giveaway.

What I wasn’t expecting was the “little surprise” she’d added to the parcel.

Just look at that beautiful fabric and please don’t hate me too much.

It is John Kaldor.  The colours are exquisite.  The pattern is like a watercolour.

I had to beat my mother with a stick to stop her stealing it.

(Not really…but almost).

Can you tell yet that I like it?

I’ve said it before, but it stands restating…I’m a very lucky girl.

It’s gorgeous, if I lived nearby you’d have to have that fabric under lock and key…! I really must blog my surprise package!

  7. Ok, I won’t hate you too much….neither for the great fabric, nor for the magazines…:o) A camisole would look great in that fabric! Looking forward to seeing it.

  8. Sorry can’t hate you (!) even if you have lovely things to add to the other lovely things in your sewing stash. Luck is loverly isn’t it?

I am very jealous, any idea where one might be able to come by some of this beautiful fabric?

As it was a gift I really have no idea, but you could perhaps email the manufacturer and see if they can help. I’m more than happy for you to use my photo to send to them.
Good luck…do let me know if you’re successful. I’m sorry I can’t be more help than that.
