Sewing Lingerie Giveaway

I recently purchased a copy of the Singer Sewing Reference Library book Sewing Lingerie following Cidell’s review of it.

Due to a bit of a mix up, I received two copies and when I contacted the seller, they told me to pass it on!

So I am.

To one of you lovely readers.

All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post and I’ll pick a winner on Sunday 27th November.

If you subscribe through Google Reader or sign up for email notifications you’ll get an additional entry into the draw.

And yes, I’ll ship internationally.

Good luck!

Ooh! Ooh! Pick me! Pick me! Practically all my unmentionables come from Costco (should I have mentioned that?) and frankly, I deserve better!
BTW I love your blog. My grandfather’s family brought him to the US in 1901 from Burnley–is that in your neck of the woods?

Burnley is about 25 miles from us…and about 14 miles from where my father was born. I also have family about 10 miles from Burnley now.

I’m so glad you like the blog…even if posting is a bit sparse at the moment as studying is eating up a lot of my spare time. As my school reports often said “must try harder”. 😉

I’d love a copy of this book! There are some metres of cream silk in my stash that would make some lovely undies, and I’ve just got to get it into my head that underwear is perfectly sewable instead of all the M&S things I’ve got.

I would love a copy of this book and will have to hunt one down if you don’t pick me. Also, I feel like a complete idiot after seeing your husband’s solution to painting wall brackets. What a clever solution!

  4. What a great book and what a lovely person to tell you to pass it on! Being a more …erm… “rounded” lady, I have to buy my undies back in the UK as undies for the fuller figured lady in Spain look like Granny Grunt Pants and Crash Helmets for bras!!

Thank you so much. We had such a lovely time and were thrilled to be spending the time in such wonderful company. I’ll be posting early next week so keep your eyes peeled.

Linton in the New Year sounds like an excellent plan.
