Boy meets pavement

He used the brakes on his scooter a tad too enthusiastically. Β Thankfully he’s fine. And we didn’t need A&E!

IMG_8977_edited-1I’m also pretty glad that the black eye he got the other week at the play centre has faded.

PS…the uber sad face is purely for effect. Β He’s currently bouncing around the garden like a little boy should.

  1. Oh ouch ~ poor him πŸ™
I so sympathize as I met the pavement a few weeks ago.
As i finished my run i took a pretty and not so graceful dive into the pavement, feet away from my driveway…My poor knees, hands and luckily it was my shoulder not my face that hit the pavement too.
I had forgotten how a road rash such as this hurts.

Poor Boy! They spend their lives going from one bump and scrape to another, lol. Being young, they heal quickly

Ouch! Poor thing! I tripped and fell running on a trail last week and managed to turn my side, hip, and elbow into one giant scab. Hopefully he outgrows his proclivity for accidents and doesn’t become a clumsy adult like me! Glad he didn’t need stitches or anything. πŸ™‚

    • That sounds painful…hope you’re on the mend. I’m always surprised we don’t spend more time in A&E than we do…they are both boisterous and always running/climbing/doing something they probably shouldn’t! πŸ˜‰

  4. Ouch! Both myself and my daughter are clumsy/accident prone adults so I have huge sympathy with the boy. Although if he is anything like my daughter he will currently be milking it!

  5. Oh dear – sounds like a lot of your readers (me included) are accident prone folk….and look how we all turned out!

  6. Oh my. Happy to hear he is bouncing about already.
